Coventry and Birmingham are close enough to each other, and to the wider Midlands, that couriers often run between them all day. The price you pay depends on the job, not just the city. Here is how it is worked out.
The starting point
Our same-day courier jobs start from £30, with the price confirmed before despatch. The final price depends on the details of your job.
The main price factors
- Distance and route: the mileage between collection and delivery is the biggest driver. Birmingham to Coventry is a modest run; Birmingham to London is a longer one.
- Vehicle: a small parcel or document needs a car or small van; pallets and bulky items need a larger vehicle.
- How fast: collection within the hour costs more than a later same-day window.
- Extra stops and waiting time: each additional drop or long wait adds to the cost.
- Special requirements: fragile, high-value or signed-for items may need extra care.
